Christina Scharabun, Secretary Christina Scharabun is currently taking Business at NAIT to further her knowledge of the business world and gain information on how to run a business. She is a full-time employee of the Ukrainian Book Store and has the goal of one day being the proud owner and manager and follow in her mother’s and family’s footsteps. Christina was a member of CYMK and of the CYMK Choir growing up, and served on many committees throughout her time in the organizations. Christina is the granddaughter of one of UCAMA’s original board members Bohdan Melnychuk. She is quite excited to be a part of UCAMA and looks forward to helping and watching the Ukrainian community in Edmonton grow even larger. Being the youngest member on the UCAMA board, she hopes to bring ideas and suggestions that will attract young adults to the new Museum project.
